Happiness is what you give to me,
from a love that surpasses all time
that goes beyond all boundaries
that strengthens with each passing day
it overcomes and instills in me
a sense of belonging.
It is a calm inside,
a peaceful bliss that stems from certainty
an insightful feeling of always knowing
that with every beat of our hearts
and with every breathe we take
the future is at our fingertips.
It is a warmth,
a fire that burns deep within me
a spark ignited by only a single thought of us
and your touch that still burns on my skin
and your gentle kiss that still lingers on my lips
and of your love that will stay with me always.
It is completeness,
two entities that were once seperated
now are joined as one whole
hearts, souls, minds, and bodies connected
emotions and feelings that overpower
making it possible to make it through the distance.
Happiness is what you give to me,
from a love that surpasses all time
a deep connection that remains strong
that stands the test of time and overcomes all obstacles
because we know within our hearts
the future is ours....
ours alone.
