Can't you see the reasoning behind the sadness in my tears
Haven't you heard the echoed sighs,of all my built up fears
Long before I knew you,I loved you,yes it's true
Yet way before our present lives,I have hit a wall or two
Dead ends all around me,surrounded me to mock
The many years I've wasted,my race against the clock
To finally hold my other half,the one meant to be mine
Whether right or wrong I'd be a fool,your love to decline
And now I've come to know you,realise you are the one
Life rears up with ugliness and seeks to bring my dream undone
We cannot forsee the future,nor tell tales from the past
And without the honesty of love's voice,we could never hope to last
Ahhh but life's a struggle and indeed we're worth the fight
But still my mind is burdened,with so much thought tonight
It's just my spirit is dimly lit,as though a fading candle's flame
Just enough light to dream by,as in sleep I'll call your name....
Scattered across timeless moments,are pieces of everything we feel
Judged by many others who do not see our love as real
If they could only know,that we too are somewhat taken
By the depth of all we are together,and its not a mistake we're makin'
If anyone were to ask me,I'd surely say online love is tragic
And yet here we are across the miles,sharing in this magic
Its just a tiny glitch I'm riding,all my feelings are the same
Even if the candle dies,I'll still be calling out your name
