Underneath his friendly smile and his eyes that draw me in Lie a few too many selfish ways and To care must be a sin He speaks of love and friendship Yet his stories are so tall That if I stood upon his words I'd have a very long way to fall He doesn't give me quality time Instead he hands out grief If I needed a little of his time I'd have to be a thief I didn't want to say goodbye But I guess I'm glad I did For if he ever really loved me He kept it so well hid

Imagination is strong here
Much of it came from a tear...
If he ever really loved you
He hid well from you what's true.
Therefore he wasn't worth it
To be your friend he didn't seem fit. |
