What are you doing? Put your cap back on. Youre writing all over me, Youve scratched me entirely too long.
Youve been cutting me with such a sharp tip. Constantly drawing and erasing my flagship. I would think you would grow. I would think..well..I dont know.
I am so unsure of the intentions, And whether the cap is a remedy or trap. How am I to know? You dont always write your thoughts in stone. But neither do I.
Where am I going with this? And what is considered true? I cannot comprehend how this will affect me, But neither do you.
If youre going to paint on my spirit, And break the seals of my skin, Burn and encrypt these things inside of me, which they couldnt see. But neither could we, And sowe the future within.
If your go time is now, Break the seal of the skin, Try to trace it deep and hard, No need to relive it again. Theres no need for the pencil, only a pen.
I hope you write a story so everlasting in my heart, Weve been through a lot of tearing at our seams, But one mans poison can always be another mans dreams.
Ill be strong and I will stay, Ill do anything take this emptiness pain away. Can you feel? Are all your books in me always so real?

"If you’re going to paint on my spirit, . . ."
An excellent stanza, there.
Good poem, too. |
