She tried to stay silent
As the tears fell away from her eyes
Tried to tell herself it'd be ok
But it was all lies
Watched the clock to pass the time
Though it only stood stll
Slowly the night came
And she forgot how to feel
The sun never rose again for her
The moon only reminded her of yesterday
The stars watched helplessly
As she became possessed by the pain
It grew so cold
That she was too numb not to feel
And it grew so old
She wondered if she'd ever be alive again
