Same Mistake Often

Contributed by Grae on Thursday, 24th July 2003 @ 11:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Windows are very personal things, would you like to see what's in mine, be warned lover, you might not like what you see......
It must've hurt when you fell from the sky he said, I replied it was a ***** climbing from the ground, I've been roaming this world half dead, zombified by the **** that's been going down
I----------Iyah, I don't want to (follow 4x) you,
I----------Iyah, I don't want to be where you are
I----------I'm not who you think I am
I----------I'm not your fallen star
Walking to my grave at midnight, watching the stone gargoyles take to flight
Thinking of the days when I used to laugh
Knowing now it was a thing of the past
Hearing the voices that bought me here
Reliving memories of how it all just disappeared
I----------Iyah-------I don't want to (follow 4x) you
I----------yah,yah,yah--I don't wanto be where you are
I yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah I'm not your fallen star
I'm not going to (follow 4x) you, not you, don't want to be where you are
Oh no, I'm not going this time
No oh no no no
Don't follow your heart untrue, gotta make your wish come through
Hurting & hoping and Hurting & coping

Elisa,
I have never commented on song lyrics before, I tried to hear the music in my head
as I read your creation, and I was touched by what you said. It's so hard to just plain live today, I don't see how you young people survive with smiles on your faces. Perhaps, it's because of songs like yours that carry through to another day!
Enjoyed that Elisa

Thank you so much. I am an aspiring singer who from 14to21 has had alot to deal with I have 4 babies 3 who were taken cruelly by my ex mother in law. and faced the death of my dad at 16. I've had a gal bladder surgery and just been put through my paces for such a young age. I want to get my songs recorded and going so I can let others know they are not alone.
