Imagination reigns king
Freedom his queen
Creativity plays in the yard
Love and hope fill the air
And fear is watching from outside the gate
Where a moment lasts forever
As if time were standing still
Where anything and everything
Is all within your will
But fear is still watching you
And hate is standing by
Anticipating victory
As your dazzled by its eye
Intoxicated by its power now
Its impossible to scream
You didnt think it possible
But you are locked into the dream
Too terrified to move
Too tired to cry
And fear grabs you by the neck
As your life passes by
Surrender is apparent now
Your life he will take
And just before the knife goes in.
..you awake
