I cried as if I had lept from up high,
And was falling.
I cried as if my wrists were slashed,
And I was bleeding.
I cried as if the noose around my neck had jerked,
And it was broken.
I cried as if the last pill was swallowed,
And I was almost dead.
I cried because my grades were falling.
I cried because dreams were bleeding.
I cried because my heart was broken.
I cried because I wished that I was dead.
As I cry,
I feel I am,
Falling,
Bleeding,
Broken,
Almost Dead.

Ali,
I like very much the way you laid out your poem. Bringing much drama and tragedy to it. Wonderful write. I'm so sorry you had to cry, but sometimes that's the best way to feel better in the end!
