i've waited all my life
for a love to sweep me off my feet,
to carry me off into the sunset,
to dream the same dreams
God knew that i needed you in my life
so he sent you,
my knight and shining armor,
to protect me, to care for me
to love me like there's no tomorrow
i thank him for giving you to me
i was lost without you
i was headed down the wrong path
and you saved me
from a world of heartache
not being able to fulfill my dreams
and to succeed in life
now we can do it together
you and me side by side forever
i want to be your partner in life
till death do us part
you're my life, my heart and soul, my everything
i can't lose you
not now and not ever
when i think of how life would be without you
tears stream down my cheeks
and my heart fills up
with pain of a lost love
i wouldn't be able to bare that much pain
you mean so much to me
you mean everything in the world to me
i vow to be faithful and true to you
and remember,
i love you forever and for always
