A blinding pain cuts deep within
where oh where do i begin
im going away ill leave you beehind
but to your pain i am not blind
i see your heart, its torn apart
because on what i will embark
a journey that will take me west
and leave you behind like the rest
i bow my head in silent preyer
i know that you will be right there
but i am leaving and you cant come
and there is no place for me to run
im lost, im broken, but im never beat
though it hit me hard like blistering sleet
i fell down and hit the ground
so i say goodbye without a sound
you are here and ill be there
but this will let you know i cared.
