Cold

I drew alongside your shadow
I found no warmth
I grew close to your image
But the cold poured forth
It was then in a shiver
Cold hands knocking
An icy shaft from their Quiver
I turned to face you
With my eyes did I trace you
And steam lept from skin
as the shaft had burst aflame
