STAND ASIDE! I wanted to say
International Poet of Merit coming through!
But then I delved a little deeper
And found out it was a scam, a pile of poo.
I'd won a bowl on a rosewood base
And a medallion with 25 inch ribbon
But then I read some other talents
Which must have been written by a gibbon.
They wanted hundreds of dollars
For a trophy I had "won"
And even more to publish me
They really are a poetry.con
They said I was a real talent
Winning this a real feather in my cap
But they said this to everyone else too
They were liars it was all a load of crap.
I will submit this poem to poetry.com
Saying they can all go to hell
But the ultimate irony of that is...
I bet this damn poem wins as well!

Wonderfully humorous, but sad write! These people don't care about a poet's heart.
They don't care if they pull them apart!
As I said on the other site...
I called my attorney, no go,
Then I called the Attorney General....
What they are doing is just all right!
I sent all their junk back to them...
Isn't there someone we can befriend...
Our congressman, Senator....
We've got to stop them....this has got to end!
