Wishes Ungranted

So confused and feeling down
Wondering why my life won't turn around
I always thought that I was strong
Thought that I could live this life on my own
I always thought that I was capable to be loved
But I always end up alone
Stormy nights seem to bring more pain
But I feel soo free standing in the rain
Standing, I feel it come down wishing for a flood for this pain to drown
So unenchanted
Knowing my wishes will remain forever ungranted
Too much for me, I'm down on my knees
Screaming to whoever hears me to help me please
Can you hear me, I'm going insane
Lightning don't stop, clouds keep bringin the rain
Ripping up my roots, no longer be planted
The goddess in me will see that my wishes become granted
This world is so unenchanted, living in a world where your wishes are for ever ungranted
