Life And Time

Contributed by Krazykaric on Tuesday, 29th July 2003 @ 04:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Have you ever wanted more?
Thought youd get more than you bargained for.
Knowing you were doing the right thing,
But woke up one day and realized,
There are things you did wrong,
Or things you would like to change.

Stuff you wish you did,
But there was no time.
A lot you regret?
People you wish you could have met?

Life is all made up of this:
Decisions to make,
Jobs to do,
Life can make you crazy too.

Lots of work to be done,
Yet no time-
Socializing is hard to do,
When the clock ticks and your standing still.

Theres not enough time in a day,
To do everything you wanted to.
People rush by you,
Like a flash of light,
Not much sticks when you feel out of sight.

Too many questions,
Not enough answers,
Learning each day to strive harder.
Getting more things done by the hour.
Soon your day will be done,
Then time to sleep,
The day was no fun.

All work and no play,
But sure in the morning,
You will be ready for the day.

Nice poem. I'm pretty sure everyone feels this way, whether or not they comment to it, you know they were nodding their heads.
