through the screen
i can see
electrons and energy
flowing within me
tranforming into light
that enters the iris
a sight bestowed by nature
scarred
an addiction, affliction, obsession
it's so controlling
it's controlling minds
controlling the very acts of morality
taking us afar from humanity
beautiful children
their youth taken away
slowly
becoming inactive
in front of a screen
activate the switches
shut down the healthy mind
mentality deteriorating
braincells are dying
the blind multiplying
geniuses are fading
rapidly
