shattered dreams

i've been through
the pain, the sadness, the heartache, the dejection
give me some time to deal with this depression
take yourself away and erase my delusion
cede light for i can find my resolution

this is my time of silence
my phase of disappearance
i won't let you see me crying
no matter how heart breaking

when i see myself hurt in the end
like a lethal blade piercing
through deep in my heart
silently, i'm still craving

shattered of my hopes, my dreams, my very will to live
i lie on the ground, staring into space
thinking, reflecting, finding my limits
how can i possibly stand in her place?

i'm dying, slowly rotting away
nobody realizes, i'm better off dead
sorrowing in the darkness, embracing loneliness
my shattered dreams have turned into nothingness
