Okay, muddy the water
Distract them enough
For further slaughter
The next big thing
To prove that theyre right
A massive report
That it was good to fight
Are you ready for circumstantial?
For the minutest detail?
They will give you the evidence
To protest their innocence
Not WMDs of course
But the spin will be just enough
To make them sound right
And make them sound tough
But the timing must be right
It must be politically correct
Just as the campaign starts
To get you to re-elect
So watch the presses
The print will be massive
Theyll snow you again
To get you good and passive
Then on to target two
Rumoured to be Iran
As long as YOU dont mind...
Why should THEY give a Good Goddamn?

Very, very well said! I am sick of our leaders
thinking we are stupid and that we will just
forget that these supposed wmds was
their main selling point for starting this war.

Great job... get the word out there. I have never been afraid to write about pollitics in my poetry.... I'm glad you aren't too. Some one has to do it!!!! Great job again!!!
