I look around,
And all I see is others pain.
Everyone else goes through so much
More then I ever did,
More then I ever will.
I wish that I could take away their hurt,
That I could help them in some way,
But the truth is,
I'm useless.
I cant help them,
No matter how much I try-
I have victimized myself,
And convinced so many people,
That I am the troubled one,
Sure I have had my issues,
But who really has a trouble free life.
What I have gone through is trivial.
And it has no real significance-
I realize now why I havent been able,
To take away my own life,
I dont deserve death,
I havent earned it.
I need to get my life back in perspective.
And I need to try harder to help those,
Those who have actually suffered.

this was very good trying to help people is very admirable and does not make you useless in any sense. Great t hought provoking poem.
