"Senses"
If you listen closely, you can hear the silence in the air
Nobody feels it, but that doesn`t mean it`s not there
If you listen closely, you can hear the waves of the ocean
Nobody sees it, but we still welcome your devotion
If you listen closely, you can hear the shutting of the doors
Nobody tastes it, but we all have our cores
If you listen closely, you can hear me whisper your name
Nobody smells it, but we all knew when it came
If you listen closely, you can hear the sirens of the car
Nobody hears it, but that doesn`t mean it`s far
Senses make you more aware, but they don`t tell you all
You just have to know who to trust, and who to call
There are things in life that you`ll only see from afar
But the things you do encounter will make you who you are.
