When I wake up in the morning
I think of people close to my heart
Whether they think of me or not
Is of trivial importance
They have a place in my heart
And thats enough for me
I may sometimes do or say
Things that may hurt
I hope you do understand
Its because I care that I do it
Dont take it seriously
I dont wanna hurt you
Id rather get hurt
Than hurting you
Words are not enough
To express my feelings
What else could I do
Saying youve never hurt me
Would be lying
Lies, meant to make me feel better
Im sorry if Ive ever hurt you
But why should you care
These are just words
Maybe meant to make you feel better
But one thing is for sure
They come from my heart
You may not believe in these mere words
But I do hope you believe in me
When I tell you I care
I do mean it
What can I do to prove
That my love for you is true
