Great Western Leaders

Great Western Leaders

They cant find any weapons
and it just isnt fair
if your name is John Howard
George Bush, Tony Blair

The casualties keep on coming
be it Iraqis or allies
if only theyd listened
to our bloody peace rallies

All this isnt their fault though
they just got bad information
still the publics gone mad
hell bent on retaliation

Weve got rid of Saddam
says Blair with good reason
but if the Brits have their way
hell be done soon for treason

Now George Bush is in trouble
his countrys knee deep in debt
but what could the man do
in the face of such threat?

And youd think Johnny Howard
would be down the latrine
and he bloody well would be
if the choice wasnt Creen

But you cant blame our leaders
they are totally immmune
just blame the intelligence
they seem to dance to their tune

CIA, FBI, MI5
ASIO
do they not have a clue
how to run their own show?

It sure would be great
if they did voice their grievance
cos these guys at the top
deserve more interference

And back to those weapons
They need to find them and quick
theyre credibilitys gone BUSH
and they cant take much more stick

It is interesting to see the similarities in these so called "leaders". All 3 have risen from obscurity to lead their countries, Howard was an obscure paper pusher, the epitome of the grey suited civil servant, Bush bought his way into power on the basis of having a father who was a former president and Blair got in through the back door when John Smith, a politician with some integrity (a rare thing) died of a heart attack. The 3 of them have chosen to ignore the actual evidence which has been made available and have chosen instead to fabricate and distort the actual facts in order to justify themselves which has lead to the unusual deaths of high ranking civil servants in the UK and the USA. It is also interesting to note the astonishing lack of a coherent political opposition to these 3 "leaders" in their respective countries. Surely a situation like that is politically unhealthy. Things will remain as they are because the 3 of them will be re-elected comfortably in their respective elections. Blair's majority will be reduced but the status quo will remain. As Ken Livingstone once said, "If democracy worked they would change it."

I understand your reasons
and I think that you are right
Yet, of the 21 countries of the middle east
Israel's democratically bright.

The emirs and princes of the rest
better reexamine their ways
The people of said lands might profit some
If princes fear those iraqi days
