My Tears Fall

Contributed by jaeann on Sunday, 10th August 2003 @ 03:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

The tears that fall
are for the futility of it all
my heart on constant call
waiting for the crumbling wall
during a night squall
patience as he stalls
and has the gall
and the ****s
to crawl
back home for " them all "
he can't stand tall
for fear he'll fall
and no longer be " cool " to you, that's all
i lost sight of you in the fall
after all the court calls
angered tears and fighting squalls
he lied to us all
played both sides of the ball
just so he could stall
break all four walls
blind you in god's hall
the hypocrit has the gall
the ******* has no ****s
he created the futility of it all
and causes my tears to fall.

Oh my, sounds like the relationship with my ex husband.. I feel the pain all over again. But the sun shines! And somehow I managed to still be his friend.
Thank you for the reminder of how lucky I now am without him as a husband!

Dear Jaeann,
How futile, how hopeless, so very sad, and yet a beautiful write. Explaining to us all that trust can not be given to many men,or woman for that matter.
Talented write, looking forward to many more. I hope something worthwhile walks through your door. And soon my dear, you deserve it!

Connie
