When parents blow their fuse
Its so easy to abuse
What they do is what they choose
With no thoughts of what they bruise
Emotionally scarred
Been beaten hard
A broken shard
To peirce the heart
The memories will still remain
While the parents cant refrain
Beat the child a sensless brain
You make them all insane
Tie them down
Gag the sound
You start to pound
You feel reknowned
As the kid grows older
You parents get colder
With the thoughts on their shoulder
The fire will never smolder
Been beaten dumb
The brain is numb
A parental bum
Just parental scum
Things come back to haunt you
The kids will grow to taunt you
Remember those you screw
As the kid is standing over you
A gun in your face
You should feel disgraced
The kid put you in place
With a bullet encased
YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED

Wow this really stirred emotions in me, i can completely relate as my parents aren't the nicest either. *sigh* what is the world coming to? o well, this was a great poem, i'm off to read more of yours, ****HUGS****

Dear Suicidalson,
I could not relate to your poem, although I was brutally beaten all my life. I never hated, because I tried, and it was so futuile...only made matters worse, so I finally joined my abusers and was sure what they did was for my own good. I still stand at their graves and wonder why? But even after adult conversations they were only willing to deny. And insisted if they had to do it over again, I deserved it all! But hate never hate for me. Just resolution, and acceptance...not knowing that others were treated differently. I thought being abused was the way! for everyone
Very good poem. Good emotional contact!

I am sorry that you could not relate to this, expecially since you were abused as a child
I am understanding you asumed it was what every child has gone through and dealt with
so you joined them I surely hope you arent abusing your child Because times have changed and the kids wont tolerate that anymore We are the future This is our world
Parents put us here for a reason and it deffinetly was not for abuse But I also thank you for acknowledging this as a good poem
and I hope you see the light, no more abusing
