A' fior cenned-ess A' ceir eleghe A' cenndech seimm. Na cennda Fiel-essie seimm nan cuill. Na 'nna meidh, Na sailan van, Na fial ruidh, Na cassa ceir Fior cenndie. Moro mael evennedh, Moro beodrae Finntanie, Moro dear meghinnie, Moro lamma deidhedh A' fior cennda. __________________________________________
There is a memory That is dear to me That is affectionately remembered. It is the memory Of a graceful, slender girl. Soft is the hair, Bright are the eyes, Red are the lips, Dear the sight Of that memory. Like sunlight on the waters, Like the brilliance of the Evenstar, Like the dew of the morning, Like the hand on the harpstring Is that memory.

Gaelic's not new.
It's been spoken in Scotland and Ireland for time immemorial. |

How very touching. Some girl would be blessed to know she holds such memories for you.

I guess that I didn't mention it before, but I like this one, especially the title...
Take care,

This is really sweet and heartwarming. How is it you melt MY heart writing about someone else? hehehe. No matter, it's great poetry. Good luck with that language... I once thought of creating a language, but I'm not patient enough. Either way, beautiful.
Love,
