Don't stay. You can't live in my mind for even one more day. Your magical friendship is killing me cause one minute you're there and the next you don't even care. My heart so far from being broke more like a knot never meant to loosen. Seems this rope I'm clinging to isn't even tied to you. I think you enjoy this tug-of-war because I'm hurting more and more. So I'll reject you till I cry, turn every word into a lie. My past has left no vacancy for the tricks you want to play. It tints all of the real things you might happen to say. All mixed up with memories of trusting with all my heart you might love me right now but I know soon we'll be apart. So maybe you could help me out and let me go today. Untie the noose around my neck I'm begging you, don't stay.

Aww, I read this poem and a tear actually escaped. I know how hard it is to let someone go especially when you still obviously have feelings for them. I had to let go of my best friend... the one person I wanted but I had cried long enough.
This poem was amazing... //amy// |
