the hardest thing i did
was to leave you
with tears streaming down your face
i never meant to hurt you
you have to believe it's true
i just don't think
that i'm not the one for you
loving you with all my heart
is what i used to do
something changed in me
i'm not quite sure
simply, i needed more
our love was beautiful
and very true
but now we have
to start anew
i hope you move on
find someone special
who truly deserves your love
but just remember
always you'll be in my heart
