like an encyclopedia
knows a little about everything
lacks the attention span
to hone a craft
yet masters bad habits
escape routes are a forte
finding a way
back to God's lap
once a week
being what they want
when they want it
just like the hungry dog
wants to care, really care
can't seem to comprehend
what it feels like to feel
purusing the maps
reference points, research divisions
find a way out of the land
of the numb
posture's bad
and the zits
keep coming
don't blink
you might miss out
on the running

| Brilliant (and I thought a lot about which word to use before I used it) one of the few poems I've read over and over to take in the detail .(they way you play a record again and again or return to a picture or view that impresses) |
