I need to be quiet
I need to be serene.
I'm scared outta my mind
and shaking in my knees.
I watch time fly
by looking at the clock.
If I don't calm down
I'll go into shock.
"He's home!"
to myself I think
Im too young to die
I don't wanna go extinct!
Now i'm starting
to feel all the pain
I feel all the pressure
running through my veins.
I'm falling over
I need to rest
but if I fall asleep
it wouldn't be best.
Now I lay on the floor
and all I see is black
I'm hoping I'll wake up--
hoping I'll come back.

| you put me back in a little scared place...hearing the sound of the truck pulling in the drive.....the dread.....the smell.....the knowledge that i'd have to fight for survival.....your words can make others feel they are not alone.....work with that.....great job!! |
