promise that you will love me
forever and a day
promise that you will never
ever run away
promise me you will touch me
when i need you to
promise me you'll listen
when i ask you to
promise me one day
you will make me number one
promise me together
we will start having more fun
promise me you'll buy me
white gold diamond rings
promise me that for me
you'd do anything
promise me you'll hold me
when the nights are cold
promise me you'll still be there
when I need some one to hold
promise me you'll make me
feel like Im worthy of each breath of air
promise me for my heart
you will always care
promise me you love me
and without me you would die
promise me you hate it
when you make me cry
promise me you will make love to me
when the time is right
promise me when we do
you wont hit me that night
promise me forever
when you look into my eyes
promise me you wont break me anymore
coz my eyes are too sore to cry

Wow... This is really good... I felt emotion in those words. Your words sound like the words coming from my mouth, when I make promises with my boyfriend... That makes me think.
Thank you for writing and posting this... It's opened my eyes a little.

Great poem..i can totally relate..
"promise me you will make love to me
when the time is right
promise me when we do
you wont hit me that night"..hits close to home for me .....
