The leaves of the trees
Sway in the wind
They dance their song
Writing words in the wind
Looking through my locked window
My heart longs to join them
To dance in the wind
To write my own words
No one knows where the wind comes from
Or where it blows
No one knows the magic it weaves
Or how it can change a heart
So beautiful and lonely
And yet so vain it is
It doesn't think of the chaos
It can create in a damaged soul
