Majestic in your steadiness,bound to earth with beauty
Standing tall with pride and knowing,I hear the call of thee
In sacred silence,meditation,you are heard upon the breeze
The goodness and the knowledge,all you give with ease
Youthful yet mature,beyond any words I could convey
Your soul is of the mountains,lush and full of older ways
About you are the rivers,of dreams and hopes and plans
Inside you is the spirit of a well journeyed young man
I listen to your teachings,learning from your pen
To me you are a mountain,my fellow poet friend
I lie upon you in meadows,of yellow daffodils
Or walk your wooded pathways,where bluebirds often trill
So much you have to offer,as I sit listening to your pen
To me you are a mountain,my fellow poet friend
