You are the light
That lights my way
My sunshine
On those cloudy days.
The hands that lift me
When I fall,
My angel that seems
To always be on call.
You are my strength
When I am weak
The friend God sent
To keep me on my feet.
You are my inspiration
When my muse has gone astray,
The little pen light in the darkness
That's as bright as day.
You're so many things
To me everyday,
But I think, FRIEND,
Describes what other words can't say.
