Exquisite beauty as death holds her tight Face camoflauged as ivory snows Her last breath fading along with the night Her fingers wrapped softly around a rose With a handful of sleeping pills creeping down her throat Falls gracefully into a state of comatose She's dressed in silk and lace A few small blood stains embrace The cloth against her wrist It seems to be the only thing she can count on Always ready and willing, always ready and willing It holds her close while she wishes she'd be missed And she said, oh, how I love the red She faked a smile while she bled To let them all think she's okay She wouldn't know how okay feels anyway Smiles so hard it hurts Lets her teeth slice up her tongue Her obituary reads like a tragic movie A story of a hopeless cause, dead so young Last scene on the cutting room floor Nothing is left to be cut anymore Lets the blood bleed into the soft ivory snow Flatlining one last time, she finally lets go

WOW, amazing. This is so full of emotion and pain. The wording you used just made this poem as amazing as it is. I really liked this...it is awesome. |
