Why do I waste my time complaining?
Lifes too short to feel insecure or that I really am not safe,
no longer will I dwell on the days I lost all of my faith.
Feeling deprived is pathetic, like have wasted most my youth,
it's time to put all my negative thoughts into trying to tell the truth.
I will wake up smiling with my head up high, forget when I fell apart,
express myself through my deepest passion to speak right from my heart.

Oh Broken glass, I believe thats the most beautiful poem I've ever read. It's not about me, though, it's about you....and that's what makes it so very true.
I feel so very honored to have you think that way of me. I thank you tremendously...but I can't take the credit for you see.
I hold very tightly to HIS hand, and he guides me, understands me, and he is what makes me for what I am!
Never let them make you like them, Broken Glass....if you do, then you're a loser too!
I loved the part in your poem where you said, "Hold your head high, and never look back. Surprize yourself with each and every new day. And if you don't feel like smiling...then do it anyway....pretty soon, you'll be smiling the rest of the day!
Thanking so much "Kind Heart of Broken Glass! Now you'll have find a new name....you've got it all put together now....
And this is one poet that loves you just the same!!

I am so glad you like the poem!! To me, poetry is my release, the thing which guides me and heals me like God does to you. It s such a great thing to be able to express myself this way, and this poem was kind of my way of thanking you for introducing me to this site and making me feel welcome. I now feel it's truely time to show everyone what I am capable of. I have so many things I need to address, and I hope you will enjoy reading them.
