WHAT'S IN A NAME?

I lift my head up toward the sky,
And ask Why wasnt I named Mordecai?
Im glad my dad didnt name me Clarence.
But Edgar, why not at least Terrence?
The man in black knew a boy named Sue.
I bet that kid stayed black and blue.
He must have been quite a tough feller,
Except when he watched the movie Old Yeller!
I had an aunt the name of Ester,
Who married my uncle who was named Lester.
When he got boils boy did they fester.
Shed take him to the Doc whod do a fester tester.
I had a friend named Vincent Bater.
His letters were addressed to Master Bater.
This is much worse than a boy named Sue.
Especially because, it happens to be true.
All my friends who called me Bobbie,
Found that boxing was my favorite hobby.
Bobbie is a girls name, it belongs to my mom.
You can call me Robert, or pretend my name is Tom.
After a while you may think back,
And say that Robert sure is a quack.
Then wonder why you took the time
To even read a single line.
