when i look up in the deep blue sky
i remember how much i still love you
i wish we never had to say goodbye
now i don't know what to do
i lay in our bed all alone
wishing you were here
i cry realizing i'm on my own
i don't know how much i can bare
i dream about the life we had together
and how much we were in love
i thought you would stay with me forever
but God needed you up above
you were my whole life
but you had to go
so you grabbed the knife
and started to cut real slow
why did you do this?
i need your gentle touch
i need you tender kiss
i need you so much
you will always be by my side
you will forever be in my heart
and even though you have died
no one can ever tear us apart
