so that's what it was!
I wonder
if the wonder
will stay or pass.
Will it be again
like it was back when?
Who would ever wish that to be!
Oh, please, Dear God,
let this joy always remain.
Help me to always be...

| The emotion here is deep, a bliss of wonderment of discovering God, like a child discovering the world for the first time. Some day soon, I hope I can feel that way again. I have felt God's very presence before, in my time of questioning and need, and remeber the joy in my heart, and the all encompassing love that He shared with me in that moment, and the tears. Thank you for helping me remeber that through this poem, you are an inspiration. |
