False construction upon dreams

Contributed by broken-glass on Friday, 22nd August 2003 @ 10:25:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

So what, you have an X amount of millions,
does this quench your thirst?
Do your worthless green notes gratify you, or are you still starving like the rest of us?
The only thing I am truely in awe of is the great 'All'.
The alpha of the Universe, the Beginning and the End.
The money on this earth is a meer misrepresentation, (it is pretend).
I will NOT give in to materialistic fabricational perversion,
the lies people tell to greedily earn their money are as fake as organised hypocrisy,
a true pure soul with a heart of gold will be awarded through plain genorosity.
You can lie like a conjuror or wear a mask,
put a false construction upon dreams but I would love to ask:
Being superficial and shallow skin deep,
is just enough to wet one's feet,
but are you truely happy, and why can't you see;
all the beautiful things in life have always been free.
So go ahead and say that the grapes are sour,
I hope that you will find your bliss with all your bottomless power.

Dear Broken Glass...
I'm so glad you learned that young,
atlast, you have learned how to have fun.
It's not money, nor power, but courage
you will need to live bravely and lead...
But money will never be your comforter.
To those that are blind....it's just a blur.
Remember love, kindness, goodness,
and friends.....then your life will have meaning until the day it ends!
Very meaningful write, Broken Glass!
I'm so glad you learned that while you were young!
Lovingcritters
Connie
