DECEIT

Its called deceit
No matter WHAT the goals
They try to meet

Just politics laid bare
For ANYONE
To stand and stare

We learn this lesson
We learn it well
They find it hard
The truth to tell

The ends justify the means
Thats the way they see it
Just another excuse
For endless deceit

In the end we went along
Thinking Its for the best.
And NOW?
Does it seem we can really rest?

Easy in our beds at night?
All terror locked out of sight?
Or just NEW dangers now out there?
Strangers who stand and stare

With a brainless president
Who thinks in braile
With a crew of demons
Beyond the pale

It was all deceit
Do you see it now?
You may wonder 'Why?'
You may wonder HOW?

By using your deepest fears
And so many deceitful words
They manipulated you all
Into their obedient herds

You believed they would protect you
As you cowered timorous as a mouse
You believed them as they walked you
Straight to another slaughterhouse
