Into the Night

Contributed by crow on Sunday, 24th August 2003 @ 12:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Legends roam these hours.
Stories of star filled skies,
moonlit trees, and fields
turned silver with dew.

Superstitions stay home
tucked tightly away.

Night winds beckon you on,
will be your shield, the cloak,
a mystic black stallion you ride.

Gold the sun brings forth,
bounty yours,
as it puts the night to rest. Crow

Oh Crow that was "spooky" but great!
I was right there behind you....could see it all!
Wonderfully descriptive, and intriquing too!
Great poem, but then that's what we always know we will get from you!
