That ongoing hum,
Nothing but a reminder of my pointless existance,
The comtinuous drone that fills my head,
The sounds of life coming from behind me,
Them talking, laughing, together, without me,
I sit alone, in wait,
For that gentle touch, the warmth in a voice,
A solitary tear rolls down my cheek,
Unnoticed,
Reflecting the scene that surrounds me,
Of my own paradox of lonliness,
Just so that you can turn this around for you,
Make this your tragedy,
Only then shall they cease,
Stop the chatter,
Come to you,
In comfort,
As friend,
And I shall slip awy,
Quietly,
Completed,
Pursued, only by my suicidal fantasies,
And the grief and bitterness that follows,
Silently,
I walk on,
Alone,
Lips moving,
The whispered wonderings,
Of those that own my life,
Claimed it throught conquest,
My defeat,
And self destruction,
Where does the blame truly lie?
With me?
Or does it just rest on my torn soul?

I love this the imagery, the sadness, and the reality you pour into it. In a way I can relate to it - all the pain u speak of and the unanswered questions. This was a great poem. Keep on writing and I hope it helps.
