afraid to let you go this time
i know you're going to leave
i can't let you see these tears
but, i could never lie to you
so vulnerable, so fragile now
you left just like i knew you would
abandoned by the one i trusted
rejected by the one i loved
i try to cry, to keep myself sane
but, i'm just floating further away
i stab myself, to feel the pain
but, the hole it leaves is just another way
another way out
desperately clutching reality
but, i don't remember anything
my mind holds only photos of you
the skin of your memories is tearing
and the Void is creeping in
something's taking over me
purging me of your memories
it's eating holes in the face of my past
it's dragging me down, destroying me
i try to cry, to fill the Void
but, my tears just float away
i stab myself, to bleed out the Void
but, my blood won't wash the Void away
everything feels automatic
so robotic, i don't even miss you now
i just drink and dream of an open wound
an escape from this loveless gloom
i tried to cry, to keep myself sane
but, i failed and floated away
i stabbed myself, but not to feel pain
just to make a hole, just to get away
the hole was so small
but, it took everything away
