Thought I'd go back to the beginning, watch how things unfolded and developed. I love this poem. Still so much hope, even in the reminicence. A lesson learned, (maybe) but buoyed by an ego it never wallows in bitterness or self recrimination.
I also like the use of the love knot - how we can tie people to us with words, deeds, obligations and emotions, but mostly just get ourselves in a tangle.
