Soak through my shirt
Watch my face pale
Watch my eyes widen
Listen to my heartbeat
Slow down and fade
Watch my hand fly
Watch me try to stop the flow
Watch the blood
Seep between my fingers
Watch your fingers dial a number
Watch me fall to the ground
Listen to your voice
Scream cries into the phone
Watch them stop the blood
Watch them avert their eyes
Listen to them utter
'Another suicidal attempt ...'
I will be fine
I will survive
Watch me try
To bleed to death again
