Whenever I feel sad and blue,
One thing I always have to do,
Is make sure I contact you,
Because you're so understanding.

Nothing seems to get you down,
Bet you're the nicest guy in town,
Always a smile, never a frown,
And you're so understanding.

Gee, I wish I could make your day,
And try to chase your blues away.
You know there are things I just can't say,
Cause you're so understanding.

My thoughts of you go very deep,
Especially at night before I sleep.
You know those thoughts I'll always keep,
Cause you're so understanding.
