Age Kept her young

Grief

My heart aches in numbness, though not saddened, my thoughts, My dreams bring me back, to the times we were brought, Pictures now framed, of this sweet tender child, her heart was of age, and age was her smile, All days once a delicate, sweet lily, so true, age kept her young, of the child, I knew, Sixteen years she had traveled, this unholy ground, our thoughts, now our memories, death left us no sound, Her purpose to travel, touching many the souls, with time passing quickly, of the spirit she holds, Days were the genuine thing that we'd do, as now our tomorrows, are a void, without you!
