Im writing you a letter,
Im writing with a rhyme.
Im telling you I love you,
Im saying you goodbye.
I wanted you to hear
The beating of my heart.
I wanted you to listen
To the words that are mine.
Id like you to know
My thoughts are with you.
Id like you to remember
The days weve lived through.
The days that are gone,
The time we ran out,
The things weve forgotten,
The memories weve lost.
Those things that weve missed,
Will stay in the past.
The ones that will happen
Are straight ahead.
Whatever may happen,
Wherever we may appear,
I believe theres a day
When we will meet again.
