Cannot be heard with ears
These tears of mine I shed
Cannot be wiped with hands
This smile that seems to frown
Cannot be understood
These scars that seem to fade
Cannot be overlooked
This ache thats in my heart
Cannot be healed with love
These fears that haunt my mind
Cannot be chased away
This drug I seem to feed
Cannot be cured with time
This light within my soul
Will not be forced to shine

| I like the way you broke the rhythm in the third and fourth line it made me look for a new rhythm that you gave and drove home with the cannots, I enjoyed reading this alot. |
