That was her diamond, freshly cut. Enough edge to carve clocks From a hazelnut. That was her brilliant girls best friend, The dual force of her life (not likely to end) That was her prism of rainbowed light Drawing strength from dear sol To add passion to night. That was her crazy blade, Sculpting portraits from stone And when freshly sharpened, It sliced through existence alone.
