I knew that it was over but I never let it show.
The way that I was shy with it so know one else would know.
I knew that I still loved you, yet love meant not a thing
To you love was just a game, to you it was just a fling.
You knew I sat alone that night, crying in my room.
The pillow sopping up the endless tears that would engulf me soon.
You knew of all the saddness that I kept deep inside
and that when ever you came around I wanted to run and hide.
I know that I didn't need you yet I must have felt that I did
though everyone said that I couldn't be in love for I was just a kid.
I thought in the begining that your love was shallow and vain
but I never knew that in the end I would cry just saying your name.
